WORDS OF GRACE |

Below are the vows traditionally spoken at wedding ceremonies.
There are many contemporary versions as well. Often, couples prefer to write their own vows
because the promises they are making are personal and specific.
Although the wedding itself is frequently a compromise between the couple's preferences, the family's wishes, the friends' advice
and practical concerns, we are fervent in counseling the couple:
"The vows belong to You ".
We urge you to choose your own words to express the promise that is in your heart and will be made to the one you love.
Your vows do not have to match. They can be short, long, funny, sentimental, reverent, unconventional.
As for the ring vows; You are giving a token of the promise you just made, sealing a covenant. Do and say
what makes the most sense to you and has the most meaning for you. |
